Introduction to Visual Studio
Visual Studio is an integrated development environment (IDE) developed by Microsoft to develop GUI (graphical user interface), consoles, web applications, web applications, mobile applications, cloud and web services, and more. You can use this IDE to generate managed code and source code. It uses a variety of Microsoft software development platforms, such as the Windows Store, Microsoft Silverlight, and the Windows API, among others. There are certain limitations to this publication in business organizations. For example, if your organization has more than 250 personal computers and an annual revenue of more than $ 1 million, you are not authorized to use this publication. Up to five users can use this publication in the organization. Its main purpose is to support ecosystems (access to thousands of extensions) and languages (you can encode in C #, VB, F #, C ++, HTML, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
2. Professional: This is a commercial edition of Visual Studio. It is available in Visual Studio 2010 and later. It supports XML and XSLT editing and includes tools such as Server Explorer and integration with Microsoft SQL Server. Microsoft is offering a free trial of this publication, and after the trial period, you must pay to continue using it. Get started with Visual Studio 2017
You must first download and install Visual Studio. To do this, see Download and install Visual Studio 2017. While installing VS 2017, be sure to select the basic .NET upload. If you forget it, you need to change its installation.
When you open Visual Studio and start writing your first program, you’ll see several toolbars:
Code editor: where the user enters the code.
Output window: displays Visual Studio output, compiler alerts, error messages, and debugging information.
Solution Solution: This indicates the file that the user is currently working on.
Attributes: This provides additional information and context for selected sections of the current project.
Users can also add windows as needed by selecting from the View menu. In Visual Studio, the tool window can be customized because users can add more windows, remove existing ones, or move windows as best they can.
Multiple menus in Visual Studio: Users can find many menus at the top of Visual Studio, as shown below
Commands for creating, opening, and saving projects are included in the File menu.
The command to find, modify and restore the code is included in the Edit menu.
The View menu is used to open additional tool windows in Visual Studio.
The project menu is used to add more files and dependencies to the project.
To change settings, add Visual Studio functionality through an extension, and you can use the Tools menu to access various Visual Studio tools.
The bottom menu is called the toolbar, which provides quick access to the most commonly used commands. You can add and remove commands by going to Overview> Customize

Support for different programming languages in Visual Studio is added via a special VSPackage known as a language service.
When you install Visual Studio, a feature called VSPackage is also available as a service.
The Visual Studio IDE offers three types of services known as SVsSolution, SVsUIShell, and SVsShell.
The SVsSolution service is used to provide features for listing Visual Studio solutions and projects.
The SVsUIShell service is used to provide user interface features such as toolbars, tabs and so on.
The SvsShell service is used to register BOS packages.
