But take it slow would be my advice. Really get to know him. I'm 34 and dating a 26 year old, so yes I would. But it really depends on your personal situation and where you and he want your lives to go. But no harm in meeting the guy and getting to know him and finding those things out. Do what makes you happy. Its completely down the individual 10 years would be my limit at 40, 7 is kinda perfect for me but of course the older you get the less of an issue it becomes.
