The plot: 15 years after the global apocalypse, humanity is on the verge of extinction. Civilization no longer exists, food is scarce and most people survive by stealing and killing. A boy lives in a deserted British village, where it was important to stay away from others. But this self-imposed isolation suddenly ends when he crosses the road with another group of survivors and meets an enemy who is much wilder than any of them could have imagined.
