I just bought a new oven and comes with a red, black, white and green wires already connected to the oven. I need to connect the male plug but when looking at the old plug the white wire is not connected at all. Should I go the same leaving the white wire not connected at all? The house was built in I would change the breaker out to a single 15amp. And yes you could pigtail it. Yes I am, but still. I was in Newwark NJ working today as well.
