Amazing location and view. The idea of breakfast in a local bar meters away,no explanation given as how or what the breakfast consisted of by neither the host or the person serving in the bar. Not very professional the host who greeted us,she seemed like she was in a rush, not explaining how to use the hamman and that we should read the instructions left on the table.
The location was perfect and spotlessly clean. The suite is perfect - nicely decorated, comfortable, with amazing views and the hammam is just a top-up experience. Total Matera issue are mosquitoes, so you have to think about opening the windows. But there is airco so solved again. The location middle in the sassi is brilliant.
Although well appointed it was obvious that attention to details was laking. For example, there were nowhere to hang clothes, we had to ask for hangers. There were no kitchen facilities at all, just a kettle to boil water and cups.

A kitchen sink and basic implements would be a great improvement, especially since breakfast was not available in the premises. Would have been umpleasant if it had rained. Would not return to this place if we were to visit Matera again. We loved it all!

We loved the bathroom and the mix of contemporary interiors mixed with the cave bathroom. Delightful designer suite in excellent position. We had the hammam room with a terrace wrapped around the room with astounding views of the Piazza and the gorge. The Manager is very kind and met us on arrival. Breakfast is in the Piazza which I found appealing.
The bed is the best. Lots of windows with views so not claustrophobic. I would only suggest bottled water in the room and an iron. The property was in the heart of the old town. We liked everything - awesome experience. Incredible design apartment, featuring a hammam, design furniture and one of the best views of Matera from a private balcony. Excellent view of the square, the church and the caves across the valley. Great location for the tourist caves and other attractions.
Super close to a number of quality restaurants. The decor is modern and incredibly stylish and we loved the steam shower and balcony facilities in our suite. Breakfast was delicious, varied and healthy. Good WiFi and shower pressure, bed comfy. We were very comfortable here. Breakfast at the local cafe was average. Beautiful apartment in an extraordinary location with a wonderful balcony and views.
