My mother is dating a loser

It's about your daughter's happiness, not whether you like him or not. Dumped by the guy we believed was our true love. And oh, the heartache. My eyes well up for my sixteen-year-old-self standing at the driveway of the school carpark, talking to my soon-to-be-ex-boyfriends-best-friend who is moments away from telling me that he was breaking up with me. But if he likes me, why is he breaking up with me? I doubt my ex-boyfriend and his best friend would even remember this blip on their relationship rollercoaster.

Most of us clearly remember having our hearts broken by a guy who was never good for us. That's the greatest fear of all, because, then you lose her. And that means loving your baby girl as unconditionally and joyously as you did the moment she was born.

Like I've come to realize that we as children seem to put our parents on this pedestal that they should have it all together and have all the answers because they're the parents and we're the children but in reality aside from being parents they are human and have their personal share of issues and shortcomings and just as with everyone else you have to accept them for their flaws and try not to judge.

Its difficult but as an adult would u have all the answers at their age being a parent dealing with what they're dealing with? If she is truly detrimental to your mental and emotional state, love her from a distance to protect yourself and deal with her when you're emotionally strong enough.

If you can , try to help her out by talking to her woman to woman or getting her the professional help she seems to need. Dec 8, Your mother is set in her ways, nothing you say or do would make her get her act together. You should focus on your own well being and try not to fall on hard times again.

Remember she wasn't there for you at your lowest point. You sound like a grown woman.

Step away from your mother's love life. Stop enabling her and let her flop on her own.

She is not your girlfriend and even if she were, your involvement in her love life is beyond unseemly. As far as the job thing, she just sounds like she's lazy and not good with money. Again, not your problem. You only have one life, do you really want to spend it being overly involved with your mother? You will be bitter as hell, if you arent' already.

If they are a jerk to these people that is a sign of his character and that he just does not care about you. But a man who makes a lot of false promises or says he is going to do something but does not follow through is not a man. As a man he should be grown enough to follow through on the things that he says he is going to do, especially as it pertains to your relationship. And if he is not able to do that, then that shows that not only is he a loser but it also shows that he does not really care about keeping his promises to you and he will just tell you anything with no intention of actually doing it.

Anyone who loves and cares about you should not want to make you feel bad about yourself. If that is their intention then they have an issue not you. If a man is doing this to you then he is trying to make you feel bad about yourself so that he can control you. A relationship should make you feel good about yourself not make you feel bad. So if he is calling you ugly, stupid, or fat; then he needs to find someone else that meets his needs.

Do not feel the need to change yourself based on what a loser thinks about you. And there you have it, 7 ways to tell that you are dating a loser.
