Late to the Bullet manufacture was moved to Japan SQ serial number pre-fix and in and 86 to Korea E serial number pre-fix stamped on the neck plate. These guitars were marketed as the Squier Bullet. Humbucking pickups from the original early 80s consisted of the same paired single coil configuration as the American-made models but used steel rods as pole pieces with a ceramic bar magnet.
